Mrs. Armstrong died Wednesday, Sept 3, 1997, at NorthBay Medical Center after a short illness. A native of Tracy, Iowa, she lived in Fairfield CA the past 36 years. She was a teacher for 11 years at Tolenas Elementary School before retiring. Memberships included the Methodist Women, Retired Teachers of Solano County and Senior Americans Club.
Survivors include her daughters Marcia Fredenburg of Fairfield and Marilee Silva of Albion; sister, Gladys Havey of Fairfield; seven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
A funeral was held at Fairfield Funeral Home with the Revs Vic Matson and Robert Sanford of Community United Methodist Church officiating.
