Mrs. Mary Jane Cupples, 60, a resident of Olla, who had lived all her life in LaSalle Parish, died at her home Dec. 24, about 6 a.m., after a long illness.
Funeral services were held Christmas Day at
3 p.m., at the Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and interment was in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Cupples was a member of the Baptist Church. She is survived by her husband, A. J. Cupples; three daughters, Mrs. G. R. Spencer, West Monroe, Mrs. Nina Poole, Monroe, and Mrs. R. W. Swanson, Olla; a brother Esbon Steen, Olla; and a sister, Miss Zadie Steen, Olla.
Pallbearers were Don Steen, Jena; Hancel Steen, Raceland; Gene Steen, Houma; Jackie and Ronald Gunter, West Monroe and Jimmy Hobbs, Monroe.
