Obituary:
Charles A. Gilliland, age 64, of 49 North 49th Street, Lawnton, died Friday in the Holy Spirit Hospital. He as a veteran of WW II and a retired mail handler at the Harrisburg Post Office. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nona M. Gilliland, three stepsons: Jay E. Pack, Jr. of York; Vernon B. Pack of Lancaster; and Jerry M. Pack of Houston TX; one step-daughter, Mrs. Deloris Gill of Camp Hill; three brothers, George of Kalamazoo Michigan, Thomas of Freeport Michigan; and Wayne of Ionia Michigan; two sisters: Mrs. Doris Collier of Kalamazoo Michigan; and Mrs. Margaret Gardner of St. Petersburg, Florida; four step-grandchildren and one step-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the Robert B. Fackler Funeral Home, 23rd and Derry Streets with the Rev. Henry S. Raab officiating. Burial will be in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive relatives and friends Sunday after 7 p.m. in the Fackler Funeral Home.
