FORMER ONTONAGON RESIDENT IS KILLED
Archie Archambeau Injured In Accident Friday

Ontonagon - Word has been received here of the death of Archie Archambeau, 45, a former Ontonagon resident. Mr. Archambeau who moved to Baraga about a year ago from Ontonagon was killed Friday at 9:30 a.m. when he was hit on the head by a log while loading cars for Van Platen and Fox. The accident took place at the siding near the Baraga water and light plant.
Mr. Archambeau is survived by his widow, three children, several brothers and sisters, and his mother, Mrs. Archambeau Sr. of Baraga.
The deceased was born in Chassell and moved to Baraga with his parents when a child. Before returning to Baraga last year, he had resided in Ontonagon and was employed by the Lake Superior Lumber corporation.
Funeral services were at Baraga in the Catholic church.
