WOLFFORTH - Rosary for Abelino Escobedo, 71, of Wolfforth will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at Wilsons' Funeral Directors Chapel. Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the chapel.
Interment will be in Ropesville Cemetery under the direction of Wilsons' Funeral Directors of Wolfforth. He died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2004.
He was born Oct. 28, 1933, in Choate. He married Juanita Salas April 3, 1953, in Kennedy. He farmed for several years.
He is preceded in death by a son, Jose Manuel Garza; and a sister, Augustina Perez. He is survived by his wife, Juanita Escobedo; 13 children, Josefin Rodriguez, Bertha Flores, Bobby Escobedo, Patsy Castillo, Abelino Escobedo Jr., Juan Escobedo Sr., John Escobedo, Rose Mary Segovia, Manuel Luna, Yvonne Carrasco, Orlando Trejo, Michael Trejo, and Jeremy Solis, all of Ropesville; 22 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 5 brothers and sisters, Nieves Escobedo Jr., Rosendo Escobedo, Alicia Mendez, Aurora Lozano, and Angelita Amaya.
