Betty Marie Grasher, of Custer, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 2007. She was 82 years old.
Betty was a very private person, and her family was her life. She was considered one of the best cooks in Whatcom County and was a hardworking farm-wife (her advice to other farm-wives was to always grind the gears on the tractors so they did not have to work in the fields!). She sacrificed without end for her family and will be missed by her children: Ray, Jerry, Clark, Gary , and Marilyn; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. We will all miss your undying love, Mother.
