CALDWELL Services for Dell Peter Christensen, 65, Route 3, Caldwell, who died Tuesday at a Caldwell hospital, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Caldwell Second Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints by Bishop Melvin Priest. Interment will be in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Flahiff Funeral Chapel, Caldwell.

He was born March 18, 1913, at Tetonia, son of Niels P. and Lucy Ricks Christensen. He was reared at Tetonia and graduated from Driggs High School. He married Emily Norma Sheets November 3, 1932, at the Logan, Utah, LDS Temple. During World War II he worked for the Boeing Company at Seattle and owned a service station. They moved to Rexburg, where he and his brother worked in the automotive business. He moved to Caldwell in 1945 and established Christensen Motor Sales Co.

He was active in snowmobiling, boating and mechanics.

He was a member of the Caldwell Second Ward of the LDS Church, the Lions International, Canyon County New Car Dealers Association and the Idaho Automobile Dealers Association. He served as a home teacher for the LDS Church.

Surviving are his wife and two sons, Kent D. and Milton P., all of Caldwell; a daughter, Mrs. Dale (Arlene) Patterson of Twin Falls; two brothers, Roy D. of Rexburg and Lee of Caldwell; five sisters, Mrs. Lilian Miner of Salt Lake City, Mrs. Glen (Bernice) Peterson of Rexburg, Mrs. Irving (Marie) Anderson of Orem, Utah, Mrs. Erma Leuk of Boise and Mrs. Lila Edison of Twin Falls; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Leon, and a daughter, Mrs. Bridges (Norma) Taylor, who died in 1967.

Friends may call at the funeral chapel today from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m., Friday from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. and Saturday at the Relief Society Room of the Caldwell Second LDS Ward from noon until time of services.
