In our home his chair is empty
And his face we see no more,
But we again will meet him
Over on the other shore
Deep in our hearts lies a picture
Of a loved one gone to rest
In memory's frame we will keep it
We will miss him; how we'll miss him
When we see his vacant chair,
When our head are bowed in sorrow,
We will mis his every care.
