Albert was one of six children, three boys and three girls, to John Daniels Jr (6 Mar 1820 NY d 24 Jan 1858 Rock City IL) and Candace Sarah Emery b 1825 Thompson's Ledge Geauga co OH, d 6 Mar 1922 Elwood Gosper co NE.) He married Caroline L. "Carrie" McClintic Apr 3, 1870 in Stephenson co Il. They moved to Clarks Merrick Co Nebraska where Albert's step-siblings lived. 2 Dec 1871 (1870 on her death cert) they had their only child, Viola Daniels. Albert established the first sunday school in Clarks. 20 Dec 1892, Carrie died and by 1910 Albert and Viola were living in Victoria TX. Sometime afterward, Viola married Edward Bennett b 1 Nov 1875 Arkansas. In 1930 the three are living together in Seadrift. Edward died 24 Mar 1944 in Victoria and his body was sent to Seadrift. Viola Bennett died 22 Jul 1940 in Seadrift.
