Actress, Dialect Coach, and Assistant Vocal Coach. She made her Broadway Debut in 1953 performining in the show Madam Will You Walk. She also appeared in other shows such as The Midnight Cellar (1958), The Visit (1960), The Last Days of Lincoln (1961), and Crowbar (1990). She also appeared in movies most notably as The Elderly Southern Woman on the Park Bench in Forrest Gump (1994). She also served as dialect coach and consultant in movies such as Mrs. Soffel (1984), Witness (1985), No Mercy (1986), Tune in Tomorrow (1990), and Trading Moms (1994). She married Broadway Actor David Clarke in 1946 and together they have 2 daughters actresses K.C. Clarke-Logan and Susan Dunfee Clarke-Bennett. Nora Dunfee passed away on December 23rd 1994 after a long illness just 2 days before her 79th Birthday.
