As a resolution to the marital question, Peter DeMars and Harriet were again married in Millerton, NY. Harriet's children by Andrew were Hattie Amelia Cook, Charles Friend Cook, and William Cook. Her children by Peter DeMars were Edmund Holcomb DeMars, Frank Henry DeMars and an infant, Henry who was born and died in 1875 in New Hartford, CT.
