She was noted as a most painstaking, faithful teacher, having the faculty of not only teaching the pupils book knowledge but that more rare quality of teaching them the higher, better things of life, making all her pupils her life long friends. She died March 16, 1910, in Oroncque, Conn., having devoted her life to public service.
