Father worked on Panama Canal project and the family lived near the project when he was a young child. Father died there from a Cancer which went to his brain.
In 1923 Janet brought her family to San Francisco where family members were living. they remained a part of San Francisco area the rest of their lives.
His three child were Irene, Norman and Ruth Baanfield.
