Henry Henning just disappeard one night in 1941 or 1942. One story was he was playing cards with a neighbor that lived about 3/4 mile from his home in Knappa.
Henry had a big rowl with the neighbor and left for home. He never made it. The neighbor ran his tractor plowing his field until wee hours of the morning. Some suspect that the neighbor killed Henry and buried him in his field. The authorities probed the field, but never found him.
