Tom Farish, 75, of Lexington Manor in Lexington died of heart failure Tuesday, September 7, 1999 at Lexington Manor.
Funeral services are today (Thursday, Sept. 9) at 11 a.m. at New Shiloh Baptist Church in Gravel Hill. Interment was in Shiloh Cemetery with National Funeral Home of Clarksdale in charge of arrangements. Visitation is Thursday morning from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church.
A native of Black Hawk, he was a retired employee of Lud Lowe Textile, a U. S. Army veteran of World War 11 and a member of Blaine Baptist Church.
Survivors include: a daughter, Laverne Farish of Grenada; three sons, Jerry Farish of Clarksdale, Tommy Farish of Grenada, and Billy Farish of Saganol, Texas: four sisters, Doris Moore, Katherine Clifford and Jean Truitt, all of Lexington, and Margie Bowman of Jackson; one brother, Woodrow “Pete” Farish of Kosciusko; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
