CWO3 Larry Eugene Smith Graduated Yorktown High School, Deaverton, Ohio. Then he distinguished himself serving his country in the United States Navy with so many Commendations it will take much time to list.
My understanding is that CWO3 Smith put his duty to country above his strong desire for personal family. Obviously his duty kept him exceptionally busy. He loved his parents, brothers and sisters as does any man of his obviously high caliber. He sacrificed prospects of progeny to serve his country when we needed him most. This puts him in a category above most willing to serve their country.
