London Monroe Klepfer, retired farmer, died at his home in Hawthorn, Monday, November 28, 1938, aged 69 years, 1 month and 18 days.
Mr. Klepfer was born in Red Bank township, Clarion county, October 10, 1869, the son of Solomon and Lydia Smith Klepfer. He grew to manhood on his father's farm, and followed that avocation until about ten years ago when he retired and moved to Hawthorn where he spent the remainder of his life.
He was united in marriage to Mary B. Frazier who survives him. To their union four children were born, two daughters and two sons, the sons being deceased.
The surviving children are Mrs. Gladys Smith and Mrs. Sarah Dearoche, one brother, Harvey Klepfer, and two sisters, Mrs. Aaron Stahlman and Mrs. Emma Shick.
Burial will be made in the Paradise cemetery.
