Leonard Leon Letbetter age 76, of Inez, formerly of Willis, TX passed away Sept 1, 2012. He was born on April 2, 1936 in Goldthwaite, TX, to the late Clyde E. and Loma Shepard Letbetter. Leonard served in the U. S. Army and was honorably discharged in 1957. Followiing his service years he worked as a manager of Roy Willis Lumber Company until his retirement. Leonard will be missed by all who knew and loved him. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Betty Lee Willis Letbetter; son, Kevin (wife Lisa), five grandchildren, Neil, Ashley, Brandi, Colton and Katelyn Letbetter. Preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Clyde and Johnny Letbetter and son, Keith Letbetter. Visitation will be Monday, Sep 3, 2012 from 5~8 pm at the Slavik Funeral Home, 209 N. Allen St. Edna, TX. Services will be Tuesday Sept. 4, 2012 at 10:00 am, at the Inez Baptist Church with Brother Jack Bourland officiating. Graveside services will follow at 4:00 pm at Garden Park Cemetery, 801 Teas Rd. Conroe, TX. Pallbearers will be Thomas Gerdes, Vance Letbetter, Dan Martino, Bruce Woosley, Tony McGarrah and Scott Pair. Memorials may be made to Adopt-A-Pet or Dorothy H. O'Connof Pet Adoption Center in Victoria. Funeral services under the direction of Slavik Funeral Home, Edna. 361~782~2152 and Cashner Funeral Home Conroe, 936~756~2126
