Wellington - Funeral service for Margaret Richie Taylor, 78, formerly of Wellington, will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Gray Brown Service Chapel with Evangelist Benji Malone and the Rev. Kenneth Hodge officiating. Burial will follow at Anniston Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends this evening from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Taylor passed away Friday in Jacksonville. Survivors include her daughters, Kathy Wyatt (Rodney), of Alexandria, Retha Pruitt, of Jacksonville and Sandra Morris, of Wellington; ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren and one brother, James Paul Richie (Lenell), of Miami, Fla.; sister-in-law, Sue Richie; several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Taylor is preceded in death by her parents Howard and Nannie Richie; a great-grandson Jayden Spears and a sister, Mary Elizabeth Richie, and a brother, John Davis Richie. Pallbearers will be grandsons. Mrs. Taylor was a native and resident of Calhoun County. She retired from Civil Service and JSU. She was a member of AGAPE Christian Fellowship. A special thanks to Amedysis Hospice and RMC Jacksonville Hospital.
