Edward L. Von Behren, brother of Charles Von Behren of here, of near Berger was buried in the Von Behren family cemetery in Kohl City last Thursday afternoon. Services were conducted by Rev. Herbert E. Kuhn at Blumer's Funeral Home in Berger and in the Bethany Evangelical Church near there.
Mr. Von Behren had been suffering from a peculiar ailment for over two years. For the last few months he was not able to help himself or to talk. He died on last Tuesday at the age of 56 years.
He is survived by his wife, one son, Clarence of New Haven, one grandchild and the following brothers and sisters, Henry Von Behren of Washington, Charles Von Behren of Owensville, Mrs. Bertha Humberg of Allville, Gus Von Behren of Swiss, Mrs. Caroline Marsch, Mrs Lydia Mann and Fritz Von Behren of near Stony Hill.
Mr. Von Behren was born on November 2, 1883, at Kohl City. He was married to Lydia Meyer and they made their home in the Kohl City neighborhood since then. He was a member of the Bethany Evangelical Church.
