Georgia Mae Wallace Dixon, 74,of Phenix City, AL, passed away Friday, October 1, 2010 at Azalea Trace. Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, October 6, 2010 at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Pastor Connie Joyner, officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. Visitation will be today, October 5, 2010 from 1-8 PM according to Taylor Funeral Home. Mrs. Dixon was born March 12, 1936 in Opelika, AL to the late George and Mary Fields Wallace. She was employed a number of years at Bibb Mill. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Dixon is survived by her husband, Jessie Dixon, Jr., Phenix City, AL; children, Thaddeus (Serena) Dixon, Tacoma, WA, Gregory Dixon, Opelika, AL, Kinnes (Ciciley) Dixon, Phenix City, AL, Carol Dixon, Jonesboro, GA, Dale (Monica) Dixon, Indianapolis, IN, and Terrance (Katina) Dixon, Buford, GA; ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
