DOROTHY M. ADAMS, 74, died at 12:30 a.m. Wednesday at Brighton Hall Nursing Center, New Haven. Born in Monroeville, she was a homemaker. Her husband, Donald, died in 1987. Surviving are four daughters, Kay Galligher and Ava Meyer, both of Monroeville, Ann Sieger and Naomi Hoeppner, both of Woodburn; a son, Merlin of Fort Wayne; a brother, Floyd Spaulding of Fort Wayne; four sisters, Lucille Woods and Virginia German, both of Fort Wayne, Marguerite Bowers of Canton, Ohio, and Pauline Smuts of Tyler, Texas; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Services at 10 a.m. Friday at St. James Lutheran Church, New Haven. Calling from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at E. Harper & Sons Funeral Home, 740 U.S. 30 East, New Haven and one hour before services at the church. Burial in Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Memorials to the church.
