David Allred succumbs to attack of poisoning

David Allred died yesterday at a hospital in Grand Junction, as a result of arsenic poisoning which he sustained when he drank water from a poisonous spring in Idaho during the summer. Mr. Allred had been in Moab for several weeks, but when he failed to improve he left for Grand Junction for treatment in a hospitable there. News of his death was recieved by his brother Hulbert Allred. The body will be brought back to Moab for burial.
Mr. Allred was working on the range in Idaho when he became ill, He went to Salt Lake City where he remained for some time. When he was able to leave the hospital he came to Moab. Soon after his arrival here, he experienced a relapse, and for some time prior to his departure for Grand Junction his condition was serious.
He was well known in this section, having worked here for a number of years ago, and the news of his death will be recieved with deepest regret.
