Birth: Jul. 7, 1937
Death: 1945

The Chinese Heroes Statues Plaza in Jianchuan Museum Cluster honors those people who served China in the war against Japanese aggression in 1937-45. Mao is here as well, towards the rear.

The Lugou (Lugouquiao) Bridge Incident also known as the "Marco Polo Bridge Incident" of July 7, 1937 is considered the prelude battle between Japan′s Imperial Army and China′s National Revolutionary Army, marking the beginning of the Second Sino-Japanese War (19371945). After the Lugou Bridge Incident in 1937, a large number of war fighters took into the torrent of the anti-Japanese war.
China was united against the Japanese by a shared culture of 5,000 years.
Jianchuan Museum in Sichuan treasures many of the historical and revolutionary relics, which bears witness to the dauntless spirit of the Chinese people.
The memorial has individual statues for those who died in defense of China during this period of Japanese aggression which history downplays.

The Chinese Heroes also has one unique display in that it features one soldier separated from the others located in the front left corner. It is of a Taiwanese soldier.
