In Memory of Wm. A. Adams
Though cast down, we're not forsaken,
Though afflicted, not alone;
Thou didst give and Thou hast taken
Blessed Lord, Thy will be done.
By Thy hands the boon was given,
Thou hast taken but Thy own
Lord of earth and God of heaven,
Evermore Thy will be done.
Death ever brings sadness to our
breasts, but when it comes and takes a
dear old father from the home.
He had been sick for several days and
all was done for him that loving hands
Weep not, wife and children, for me,
For I am waiting in glory for thee.
