MRS. MARY ADAMS DIES SATURDAY
Crawford County Native Had Lived Here Fifty Years
Mrs. Mary Lou Adams, 74, of 208 South Market street, died at the Callaway Hospital early Saturday morning. She had been in the hospital for about two weeks and had been ill for several months.
Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the Maupin Funeral home with the Rev. Elmer Reichert of St. Louis officiating. Burial was in the Mokane Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams was born in Crawford County on Nov. 26, 1874, the daughter of William and Atressa McWilliams Davis. She had lived in Callaway County for more than fifty years. Her husband, W. M. Adams, survives.
Other survivors are eight children, Mrs. Joe Black of St. Louis, Mrs. D. E. Heisman of Kansas City, Kan., Mrs. Earl Fishburn of Fulton, Mrs. S. L. Baldwin of Fulton, Dale W. Adams of St.Louis, Mrs. Finley Good of St. Louis, Frank Adams of Fulton and Fred Adams of Fulton; thirty-one grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Smith and Mrs. Babe Lair of Illinois and Mrs. Daise Kinsworthy of St. Louis; and a brother, Jack Davis of southeast Missouri.

FUNERAL HELD SUNDAY FOR MRS. W. M. ADAMS
Funeral services were conducted at 4:00 o'clock Sunday afternoon at the Maupin Funeral Home in Fulton for the late Mrs. W. M. Adams of Fulton. The Rev. Elmer Reichert of St. Louis officiated and burial was in the Mokane cemetery.
Mrs. Adams was born in Crawford County on November 26, 1874, the daughter of William and Atressa McWilliams Davis. She passed away early Saturday morning at the Callaway Hospital, where she had been a patient for the past two weeks. She had been in ill health for several months.
She is survived by her husband, W. M. Adams, and the following children: Mrs. D. E. Heisman of Kansas City, Kansas, Mrs. Joe Blanke, Mrs. Finley Goode and Dale W. Adams, all of St. Louis, Mrs. Earl Fishburn, Mrs. S. L. Baldwin, Frank Adams and Fred Adams of Fulton. She also leaves to mourn her passing one brother, Jack Davis of southeast Missouri, three sisters, Mrs. Fannie Smith and Mrs. Babe Lair of Illinois, and Mrs. Daisy Kinsworthy of St. Louis, thirty-one grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
The deceased had lived in Callaway county for more than fifty years and for a number of years she and Mr. Adams and their family resided in Mokane. The family has many friends in this community who extend to them sincere sympathy in this hour of sorrow.
