Mrs. Viola Olive Monks Adams, 87, of Takoma Park, Md., passed away January 20, 2002. She was the widow of W. Melvin Adams.
Surviving are her two sons and one daughter; Willis M. Adams of Dayton, Ohio, Clinton M. Adams of Tappahannock, and Berneva A. Moulder of New Market; nine grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held January 25, in the sanctuary at the Sligo Seventh-Day Adventist Church, Takoma Park, Md., with graveside services at George Washington Cemetery, Adelphi, Md., where Mrs. Adams was laid to rest next to her husband and close to her mother.
