Otto was the fifth of eleven children {seven sons & four daughters} born to Nicholas R. & Mary Katherine (Schmitt) Bidinger.

On 22 November 1923, Otto married Amelia E. Meyer in Stearns County, MN; they were both age 26. Amelia was the oldest of eight children {four sons & four daughters} born to Peter J. & Agnes (Braun) Meyer.

Otto & Amelia had no children who survived childbirth -- they had stillborn twins who died (7 March 1924) from Rh blood incompatibility.

A career employee of the Great Northern Railroad, primarily as a laborer at the railroad car repair shop in Saint Cloud; Otto died at age 67 from from complications from a stroke.
