William A. Balletto, 54, of Brick, passed away at home on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, with his family by his side, due to complications of ALS. He was born in Jersey City and moved to Union Beach, where he served as a volunteer fireman with Harris Gardens Fire Company before moving to Brick. Bill was employed by the New Jersey Turnpike Authority for 30 years. He was a coach for both Brick National Little League and BMAC basketball. He was a communicant of Church of the Visitation in Brick. He loved to cook, and shared his love of nature and animals with his sons. He had an extraordinary effect on all who knew him and will be missed by many, especially by his neighborHOOD.

He was predeceased by his father, George Balletto. He is survived by his wife, Cynthia; his sons, A.J. and Auston; his mother, Janet; his brother, Robert and his wife Eileen; his nephews, Bryan and Michael; his nieces, Stephanie and Candace; his great-nephew, Michael; and his great-niece, Lea.

Burial at St. Mary of the Lake Cemetery in Lakewood.
