Christine was the first child born to Luther Edward Turner and Daisy Lee Allen. She was born in Attala county, MS.

Christine was the grand daughter of John Henry Turner and Mary Ann (Mollie) Schrock of Attala County, MS. The great granddaughter of William Henry Turner(CSA),and the fourth great granddaughter of Henry Turner the Revolution War Soldier.

She married her child hood sweetheart Grady Elmer Allen on 29 November 1932. They had two children: Billy Elmer and Buena Faye.
They were married for fifty five (55) years until Grady's death in 1987.

Hurricane Katrina (the worst hurricane in US history to hit the Mississippi Gulf Coast) happened on August 29, 2005.The storm caused undue stress and strain on Christine. She died five days before her 94th birthday,of congestive heart failure 5 October 2005,approx.six weeks after Hurricane Katrina.
