Mrs. Annie M. Adams, widow of Mr. James M. Adams, U. S. N. , died Sunday at the home of her son-in-law, James W. Knowles, Jr., 715 Lennox street.
Mrs. Adams was born in Baltimore and was the daughter of the late Richard Kemp, who was for years connected with the Shot Tower Company of Baltimore.
Her husband, who died 40 years ago, was a chief engineer in the United States Navy and saw service in Mexico during the War of 1847.
He was with Commodore Perry in Japan.
