Frances Phelps born was born abt 1811 VA and died between 1841 and 1847 at Henry Co TN. Her father was John Phelps of VA. The name of her mother is unknown. Frances married George Arnn 30 Sep 1833 at Halifax Virginia. Their children were: Lucy Ann, Sarah Frances and John Madision. The family migrated to Henry County TN before 1840. Lucy Ann born abt 1835 in VA was named after her great grandmother Lucy Walthall. Lucy in 1855 married William Bentley. They had one son. Lucy Ann Arrn Bentley died sometime after 1880. Lucy's sister, Sarah Frances born abt 1838 in Tennessee married William Seawright 24 Dec 1857 in Henry County TN. Sarah Frances Arnn Seawright died in 1859 without children. Sarah's brother John Madison was born May 1841 in Henry CO Tennessee. He married Rebecca Moorefield in 1858 in Henry Co TN. They had one child, a son. Rebecca died before 1865. John Madison then married Sarah Jane Cole in 1866 again in Henry Co TN. Sarah Jane and John had two sons and three daughters. It is said that John Madison Arnn died 17 Feb 1841 in Henry Co TN.
After the death of Frances Phelps Arnn her spouse George Arnn married Charlotte Lewry in 1848 and Charlotte raised the three children of Frances and George. George is buried either between or near Frances and Charlotte.
