with the Rev. Clark Christian officiating. Burial will be in Sunnyside
Memory Gardens, Charles City, with graveside military rites by the Orchard
American Legion Post 641 and Osage VFW Post 7920.
Ralph G. Bode was born April 15, 1917, at Goodell.
Survivors include one daughter, Jeanette Akin of Webster, Minn.; three sons,
Edward Bode of Catawissa, Mo.; Robert Bode of Orchard, and David Bode of
Orchard; his father, Cornelius Bode of Osage; one sister, Thelma Griggs of
Sheridan, Wyo.; two brothers, Kenneth Bode of Charles City, and Paul Bode of
Osage; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his wife, mother and one brother.
