Norman was the son of Charles & Ann (Long) Woodhouse. They were immigrants from England working in St. Louis for a short time on their way to Utah. 5 year old Norman died of cholera as did many others and his older brothers John & Charles watched & followed as he was collected from the house on a cart and taken to the cemetery and buried.
