Mrs Cook Dies at 91 years
Mrs. Emma F. Cook, 91, died at the home of
her daughter, Mrs. Pauline Kintner, Tipton
route 4 at 12:30 o'clock this morning. She
had been ill six years and critically ill
the past four weeks.
Services are to be held at the
Leatherman-Morris funeral home at 2 o'clock
Sunday afternoon with the Rev. Marion King,
of Elwood, and Dr. F. E. Fribley of Tipton,
in charge. Burial will be in the mausoleum
at Fairview cemetery. Friends may call at
the funeral home after 10 o'clock Saturday
morning.
Born in Spencer, Ind., on April 3, 1850, the
deceased was the daughter of James and
Phoebe (Sanders) Miller. She married George
L. Cook at Crawfordsville on January 30,
1886. He died on May 5,1933. The daughter,
Mrs. Kintner, 10 grandchildren and one great
grandchild survive.
Mrs Cook was a member of the Kemp Methodist
church, the Hobbs W.S.C.S. and Tipton
W.C.T.U.
