Through information from Mrs. Laura
Stepanek and searching by Mr. Frank
Pilinger, the grave stone of Jacob Baird
was found. It was in a very small old
cemetery called Farmington, in Farmington
Township. The location is one
mile north of Walther's corner, Cuba and
miles east on north side of the road.
It was at this place that was originally
old Cuba townsite. The present town had
moved south to meet the railroads.
Mrs. Robert Baird Cashmere, Wash.,
the researcher writes that she is very
grateful to the many people who have
answered her requests for information of
the Baird Family.
