Dorothy was a past member of the Church of St. Theresa of the Child Jesus, Hellertown, where she was very active in the Women's Guild for many years. She later became a born again Christian in doing God's work and helping people spiritually. While living in Florida, she became a member of the First Assembly of God, New Port Richey, FL.
In her early years, she worked for Prosser's Drug Store, Hoffman Jewelers, became a stay-at-home Mom/Grandmother and a caregiver aide at Sacred Heart Rehab.
