Mrs. Della David Brumley, age 70, a resident of Wyatt, died May 25 at 3 a.m. at the Delta Community Hospital in Sikeston after an illness of five months.
She was born April 1, 1902, in Kentucky, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Miller. She had lived in Mississippi County most of her life and was a member of the Wyatt Methodist Church.
On Sept. 13, 1919, she was married to Grover C. Brumley, who died June 26, 1965. One daughter also preceded in death.
Surviving are: seven sons; Ulyes and Clifton Brumley, both of Wyatt, David of East Prairie, Albert of Cape Girardeau, Herbert of South Bend, Ind., Gordon of Memphis, and Fred of San Antonio, Tex,; five daughters, Mrs. Earline Hinchey of Collinsville, Ill., Mrs. Ella Mae Williams of Wyatt, Mrs. Sarah Pullen of Wyatt, Mrs. Ruth Ann Byford of Diehlstadt, and Mrs. Lucille Mevert of San Pedro, Calif.; two brothers, Brye Miller of Temple, Tex., and Charlie Miller of St. Louis; one half sister, Mrs. John Ledger of Temple, Tex., 41 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held in the McMikle Chapel, Charleston, Saturday at 2 p.m. with Rev. Glen Lashley, pastor of United Methodist Church of East Prairie officiating assisted by Rev. L. R. Bowles, pastor of Wyatt Baptist Church.
Burial was in the IOOF cemetery.
