Mrs. Maria Etta Sayer, 78, of Kerman, wife of a retired rancher and mother of H. D. Sayer of this city, succumbed in her home early Friday.
She was a native of Iowa and had lived in California for 40 years. She and her husband, Thomas, moved to Kerman from Caruthers 20 years ago.
Funeral services were arranged by the Lisle Funeral Home of Fresno. Besides her husband and son, she is survived by six daughters and one other son.
