ADAMS, Joseph W. Joseph W. Adams, 84, of South End Road, Plantsville section, Southington died Saturday (August 21, 2004) at Bradley Memorial Hospital. He was the husband of Adeline (Bieluczyk) Adams. Born in New Britain on July 20, 1920 the son of the late Louis and Susan Adamowicz. He was a World War II Merchant Marine Veteran. Prior to his retirement he was employed by International Silver Co. in Meriden for over 40 years. Mr. Adams was a member of the Southington Planning and Zoning Commission for 15 years. He was a member of the Democratic Town Committee for 30 years, he was also a member of the Central CT Regional planning Commission, and the American Legion Kiltonic Post #72. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Christine and Gary Pawlik of Simsbury; two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard D. and Julie Adams of Southington, Mark J. and Philomena Adams of Plantsville; four grandchildren, Lisa and Justin Pawlik and Kayla Adams and Steven Adams. He was predeceased by a sister Helen Onofrio. The Funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:15 a.m. from the DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. to Immaculate Conception Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Monday from 5-8 p.m.
