COLUMBIA, Mo. --- Phyllis Ann Jacquart, 80, Columbia, died Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2001, at a Columbia nursing home.
She was born July 1, 1921, in Topeka, the daughter of Glenn R. and Edrey Bullis Miler. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Ferndale, Mich., and attended Washburn University and the University of Nebraska.
Mrs. Jacquart was a member of Alpha Phi at Washburn University, Northern Lights Quilt Guild, 48th Parillal Garden Club at Ironwood, Mich., Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in Ironwood, the Wyoming Council of Catholic Women and Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Columbia. She also taught English as a second language in Gray Bull, Wyo., and Rock Springs, Wyo. Mrs. Jacquart was a certified master gardener.
She married Dr. Victor E. Lofgreen in 1942. He preceded her in death. She later married David Jacquart. He survives.
Other survivors include five sons, Cassin Lofgreen, Steilacoom, Wash., Christopher Lofgreen and Mark Lofgreen, both of Lincoln, Neb., Kaj Lofgreen, Columbia, and Victor Dee Lofgreen, Chicago; a daughter, Deborah Lofgreen, Columbia; eight grandchildren; and four great- grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Columbia. Burial will be at 1 p.m. Sept. 8 in Mount Hope Cemetery in Topeka. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to service time today at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Missouri River Hospice, St. Frances House or the American Cancer Society and be sent in care of Parker Funeral Service and Crematory in Columbia.
