Marie passed away at age 72 Years, 5 Months & 5 Days.
Marie was a supervisor for Solano County Public Records and friend of my mother's.
Marie never married, but was a good Kitty Mama to many strays she took in to her home. I remember her big orange cat named Patrick, another named Big Boy and one named Tommy.

A 1951 Pacific telephone book shows only Marie Boss on Empire Street; Phone 179.
California Death Records shows Margaritha Boss born 9/15/1867 and died 11/17/1949. Father's last name is Thede. That has to be Marie's mother because the same record shows Marie's mother's maiden name as Thede. She wouldn't be in the 1951 phone book because she died in 1949.
