David W. Alspach, of Rochester, Ind., passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2006 at Arbors Health Care Center, Michigan City. He was 68.
He was born Jan. 17, 1938 in Rochester, the son of Louis and Mary (McGuire) Alspach, both of whom preceded him in death.
He is survived by two sons, Joseph Alspach of Valparaiso and Greg Alspach of Georgia; a daughter, Helena (Frank) Royko of Chesterton; two grandchildren, Jeremy Alspach of Valparaiso and Dalton Royko of Chesterton.
David was a Drug Addiction Counselor for Evergreen Addiction Services, Huntington, Ind. He attended St. Joseph Catholic Church, Rochester. He was a member for years of Alcoholics Anonymous.
A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, March 26 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1310 Main St., Rochester. His body has been donated as an Anatomical Gift.
There will be no visitation.
Arrangements were handled by Edmonds & Evans Funeral Home, Chesterton.
