Mark D. Allspach, 46, of Dayton Avenue, a model maker, claims examiner and computer programer, died June 27, 2004, at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was husband of Cheryl L. (Andrews) Allspach.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Charles F. Allspach Jr. and Grace C. (MacKinnon) Allspach, and a stepson of Grace E. (Santella) Allspach of Leesburg, Fla.

Mr. Allspach had been a model maker for Hasbro Industries since 1989, and before that had been a claims examiner and computer analyst for the London Insurance Agency, in Pawtucket, for eight years.

He was a 1975 graduate of Cranston East High School and attended Community College of Rhode Island.

Mr. Allspach was a member of Thomas Smith Webb Lodge 43, and was a master Mason.

He was an avid military model maker.

Besides his wife and stepmother, he leaves a son, Brad D. Allspach, and a daughter, Cara A. Allspach, both at home; a brother, Charles F. Allspach III of Flagler Beach, Fla.; a sister, Deborah Amato of Cranston; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service was held in East Greenwich First Baptist Church, Peirce Street, East Greenwich. Burial was private.
