Beverly Rushing Ales died on Sunday, March 27, 2011. She was the beloved wife of the late Dr Warren Ales and mother of Merrick Ales and the late Sheryl Ales Berniard and Lori Patrice Ales and mother-in-law of Mary B Ales and Roy Berniard. Beverly owned and directed a gallery in the French Quarter of New Orleans as well as one in Metairie. She served as National Show Chairman of the New Orleans Art Association. She was President of Le Petit Art Guild and Metairie Art Guild. Beverly was also a charter member of the National Museum of Women in the Arts. She is listed in Who's Who in U.S. Writers, Editors and Poets. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at LAKE LAWN METAIRIE FUNERAL HOME, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery), on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 12:00 noon. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Lake Lawn Park Mausoleum.
