Jamee was a 1984 graduate of Savannah High School and went on to the University of Missouri-Columbia, involving herself with the Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. She received her BS in Social Services, then moved to St. Louis, Missouri where she was employed by the Division of Family Services, touching the lives of many children in need of a loving advocate. It was there that she met and married her best friend, Andy. From there they moved to Washington, DC and Jamee facilitated the International Special Needs Adoption Program with Cradle of Hope Adoption Center. She brought new beginnings into the lives of so many beautiful children. Jamee and Andy brought their daughter, Sarah, home from the Republic of Georgia through CHAC in 1996 and their son, Maxwell, from Guatemala in 1999.
Jamee was devoted to her church family at McLean Bible Church where she was involved in the children's ministry. Jamee took great pride in her work with children and loved all children. Her family and her relationship with God were the most important things in her life and she truly lived her life for God. She genuinely wanted the very best in life for all those who were fortunate enough to know her. Jamee will live in our hearts forever and we know through her deep faith she is with God, Dad, and Grandma now and for all eternity.
