Teresa A. Hamlin, 54, of Clinton, a resident of the Katherine Lutheran Home in Clinton, passed away at the home on Monday, December 14, 2009. Teresa was born on August 16, 1955, in Burlington, VT, the daughter of Donald and Helen (Monahan) Hamlin. She was raised and educated in Clinton and was a graduate of Clinton High School class of 1973. She later graduated from Eisenhower College and received her Masters Degree from Cornell University. For several years, Teresa was employed at the Rochester Psychiatric Center and later at the Utica Psychiatric Center until her illness. She was a member of St. Marys Church, Clinton. Teresa is survived by her parents, Donald and Helen, of Clinton; four sisters; one brother; and brothers-in-law, Donna Hamlin and Gary Mingle, Berkeley, CA, Helene Hamlin and James Rowlands, Frankfort, NY, Bryan Diliberto, Mooresville, NC, Richard Hamlin, Littleton, CO, Susan and John Nasci, Rome, NY, and Nancy and Brad Dunmyer, Charlotte, NC. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Angelika, Maya, Julya, Courtney, Tela, Garrett, Paige and Gaetano. Teresa was predeceased by her sister, Kathryn Diliberto, in 2007. Teresas funeral will be held on Friday, December 18, 2009, at 9:30 at St. Marys Church, Clinton, where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial will be in St. Marys Cemetery, Clinton. Calling hours at the Heintz Funeral Home, 10 East Park Row, Clinton, will be held on Thursday (today) from 47 p.m. In lieu of flowers, those so wishing may make donations to the Presbyterian Home Foundation, the St. Marys Cemetery Foundation or the Katherine Luther Home (Saul Unit).
