| Birth: | Mar. 8, 1924 Kittrell Vance County North Carolina, USA | | Death: | Oct. 5, 2005 Newark Essex County New Jersey, USA | PRINCESS LOUISE PERRY HAMME, a/k/a "Louise" or "Mom," eldest child of Prince E. Perry and Novella Brooks Perry-Davis was born on March 8, 1924 in Kittrell, Franklin County, North Carolina. Louise departed this life at the age of 81 years old on Oct. 5, 2005.
Louise joined the Concord Baptist Church at an early age and remained a faithful longtime member through the years. After being joined in holy matrimony to the late Thomas R. Hamme, Sr. and having ten children born of this marriage, Louise and her family continued their membership at Concord Baptist Church. Louise worked many years in nursing and the domestic industry. She was one of the best cooks in the world and always showed great hospitality to guests and relatives whenever they came to her home. She was the kind of person that would give you the coat off of her back. All through her working years and raising her children with her husband and long after her husband was deceased, she still remained committed to her faith in God.
Soon after relocating to New Jersey in the late 60's, Louise attended many churches. She joined the Gallilee Baptist Church in Newark, New Jersey and was a trusted faithful member up until she became ill and now departed from this life.
If you really knew Louise, one would say she was that "Virtuous Woman" that the Bible speaks of. She was well-loved by everyone, young and old who knew her. She will be greatly missed.
Louise departed this life on October 5, 2005 at the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in Newark, New Jersey following a brief illness. Family links: Spouse: Thomas Richard Hamme (1920 - 1976)* Children: Thomas Richard Hamme (1943 - 2003)* *Calculated relationship
