"Michael Andresen.
Graveside services for Michael Andresen, 80 years of age, were held this afternoon at 2 o’clock in the Covert cemetery. He passed away Saturday in the Hartford hospital. / The late Michael Andresen came to the Covert area in 1934. / There are no living relatives. / The Calvin Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements."

Notes:

Birth name was clearly Michel (after his father), but in the US he was generally known as Michael (including 1911 naturalization & 1953 death record). Family name often misspelled Andreson or even Anderson.

Birth, death and burial per Michigan, Deaths and Burials Index, 1867-1995. Birth also per Deutschland, Geburten und Taufen 1558-1898, son of Michel Andresen & Anna Maria Frauenkron, baptized in Hollerath, Rheinland, Prussia (on the Belgian border in the modern German state of Nordrhein-Westfalen). He m. Rosa Theresa (Treiber) Rehling, widow of Samuel, between 1930 and 1935, and they eventually divorced.

He appears to have married first, Mina Weller, March 29, 1916 in Chicago, IL (Illinois, Cook County Marriages, 1871-1920). Michel & Minna "Andersen" are recorded in the 1930 census in Chicago. She also appears to be the Mina Andresen in the Dixon State Hospital (Dixon, IL) in the 1930 census. She d. there Nov. 22, 1930 and is buried in the hospital cemetery (Illinois, Deaths and Stillbirths Index, 1916-1947). Death record as Mina "Andreson," maiden mame "Miller" with husband "Mike Andreson." It appears she was previously married to -- Weller.
