Kenneth G. Bean, 62, our beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend was called home on this beautiful autumn day, September 15, 1992.
He returned home to his Father in Heaven after suffering a serious heart attack. He will be greatly missed by his loving wife and family. He was born on February 19, 1930, in Nephi, Utah, a son of George and Merle Bean. On March 31, 1978 he married Eloise Horrocks in Elko, Nevada.
He was retired at the time he was called home. He truly loved this autumn time of year when he could get out in nature. His love for the outdoors was passed
on to his children and grandsons, Dallas and Devan Hamilton.
He shared endless stories around warm, glowing campfires with family and friends during his hunting and fishing trips. His big, warm heart took on a special delight when he could lead his wife, family and friends out on a crisp, clear morning snowmobile ride, he loved it so.
During his senior year at Juab High School in 1948, Ken played center on the Juab High School basketball team and led the Juab Wasps to the State Class B Championship with a last second shot at the buzzer. He was truly his younger brothers hero. Sgt. Kenneth G. Bean served a tour of duty during the Korean conflict with the Battery "B" 145th Field Artillary Battalion and was honorably discharged on Aug. 7, 1953.
